We are proud to present Orange Belgium as our main sponsor. A partnership between one of Belgium’s leading telecommunication operators and the biggest esports organization in Benelux. Together we are hoping to achieve unseen goals in local competitive gaming history of Benelux.
Since the beginning of Sector One, we have been striving to be Belgium’s leading esports organization. Great ambition, thinking big and reaching new levels have always been our key success factors. Today, on our road to the top, we are proud to announce Orange Belgium, one of Belgium’s biggest and most progressive telecom operators, as our main sponsor. Not only is this new iconic partnership a first in Benelux’ esports history, we hope that this will set a new bar for competitive teams within our region. Aside from the matching colors, we think this cooperation is a great match because we both relate to youngsters as progressive and innovative players on the market.
With the explosive rise of esports in the past decade, professional teams have evolved from groups of skilled friends, to complex dynamic organizations. More than half of Belgians are gamers, and that requires esports teams to keep moving forward and aiming bigger and better. With this partnership, we’ll become the first Belgian esports organization to team up with a market leading telecom company. As every serious gamer knows, computer and peripherals are important, but useless without a great connection. Orange Belgium does not only share our desire to be the biggest, it also understands what professional gamers need. We are excited and thankful that Orange Belgium noticed our hunger for success and joined the family to help us reach bigger goals.
“With Orange Belgium as one of Belgium’s biggest telecommunication operators, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to not only meet our player’s needs, but to go way further than that,” said Ken Sevenants, managing director of Sector One. “Not only does this partnership confirm our success over the past years, but it also opens up new possibilities for esports in the Benelux.”
This partnership means the beginning of a new chapter in Sector One’s history, it also sends out a statement to other esports organizations within the Benelux. Until now, local esports had always been running behind on other regions, but thanks to our new main sponsor Orange Belgium, we hope to bring that to an end.
