Victory – Sjoesie versus CptnKitty

Last night was the fourth round of the Kayzr League Hearthstone competition. AVZ faced off against Corax’ Aikoio, while Sjoesie took on mCon’s CptnKitty. Sjoesie was able to take a 3-1 win, but unfortunately, AVZ lost 1-3.

This leaves the Kayzr League with some interesting standings going into the fifth and final week. Mitsuhide, Narra, CptnKitty, and Sjoesie are all tied 2-2, while Aikoio sits at 3-1 and AVZ at 1-3.

The Hearthstone boys will be back Wednesday, May 22nd for the last week of competition. First it’s AVZ vs Mitsuhide at 20:00, and Sjoesie vs Corax’ Aikoio at 21:00.

Sjoesie is a long-time member of Sector One and a familiar face in the Hearthstone community. He also happens to be drawn to some complicated decks builds. Last year he took home first place in the Kayzr League, playing on stage at Kinepolis Antwerpen.

While luck may not be on his side in the Kayzr League, AVZ just took first place last weekend at LouvardGame 4.2. He won the entire competition without losing a single round to the other players, from swiss stage to the end of the finals. In recent months, he qualified for the WCG European Regionals, the Kazyr League, and took third place at FoM 21.0.

The Kayzr League Group Stage will run for five weeks, ending May 22nd. The semi-finals and finals will be held on June 9th.
